The Radiation Therapy program at UM Flint had their 2nd Annual Honors Ceremony. Dr. Lawrence was our distinguished keynote speaker. Our junior students were inducted into the Lambda Nu National Honor Society for Radiologic and Imaging Sciences and then … to all of our surprise … a tornado warning in the area required us to seek shelter. It will go down as a memorable event and after 30 minutes we were able to move back to our room and continue the ceremony. Seniors were awarded Lambda Nu cords and also those receiving honors received their honors cords for commencement. The outstanding student and program director awards were also given out. The event was successful and memorable.
