Biography

Dr. Bhave is a cardiologist and echocardiographer with an interest in cardiovascular care for patients with kidney disease.  A graduate of Harvard Medical School, she completed her internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital.  At the University of Chicago, she completed fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and advanced cardiac imaging, including three-dimensional echocardiography and cardiovascular magnetic resonance.  She joined the faculty at U-M in 2013 and serves as the director of the Ann Arbor VA echocardiography laboratory.  In her work with the kidney transplant program, she sees patients both pre- and post-transplant.  She is active in several professional societies, including the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.  She is passionate about providing high-quality, high-value care.
