Our residency program is an integral part of our team, and we strive to create and foster a group with a wide range of backgrounds, talents, and perspectives. To that end, the Residency Selection Committee has pledged to improve the diversity of our residency group, and we are building an even stronger DEI curriculum that emphasizes these values. We look to numerous mentors within our department, including Aparna Joshi, the Chair of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, and Annette Joe, an Associate Professor of Breast Imaging, to help guide our efforts.
