Biography
Dr. Nourhan Mohamed is an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan.
She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, and earned her Medical Degree from McMaster University, also in Ontario. Dr. Mohamed pursued her General Psychiatry Residency at the University of Toronto, where she served as chief resident in her final year. She further specialized by completing a Medical Psychiatry Alliance (MPA) fellowship at the same institution, focusing on developing and delivering educational modules aimed at bridging the gap between physical and mental health in complex and chronic care populations.
Prior to her current role, Dr. Mohamed was a faculty member at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto from 2017 to 2024 until moving to Ann Arbor and joining the University of Michigan.
