Biography

Amy Humrichouser graduated summa cum laude from Wittenberg University in 2005 with a B.A. in philosophy. Following 9 years of working in sales management and marketing, she earned an M.D. from University of Michigan Medical School in 2018. Amy completed her general psychiatry residency at University of Michigan Hospital in 2022, where she served as Chief Resident of Education. 

Amy decided to pursue a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry fellowship at University of Michigan to continue exploring her interest in psychosomatic medicine and prepare for a career in academic C-L psychiatry. 

She is also a former Resident Fellow Member Representative to the American Psychiatric Association Assembly and former Alexandrea Symonds Fellow.
