Publication highlights the complexities of preventive care & screening for chronic conditions in adults w/ CP

Congratulations to Drs. Daniel Whitney and Ed Hurvitz, and their collaborators from Family Medicine Drs. Michael McKee and Michelle Rabideau on this new publication in Frontiers in Integrative Neuroscience.

This paper highlights the complexities of preventive care and screening for chronic disease in adults with cerebral palsy due to alterations in their anatomy and physiology related to their diagnosis. This problem is especially important to understand because of the increased prevalence of chronic disease in this population.
