Intern Year: Transitional Year at Trinity Health Ann Arbor
Favorite place in Ann Arbor: Waterloo State Recreation Area! (21,000 acres of public land, DTE Mountain Bike trails, hiking, lakes). Technically not in Ann Arbor, but is next to the Chelsea Rehab site. Within Ann Arbor, the TeaHaus.
Why U of M? I was very impressed how this program’s emphasized resident education and did not lose sight of that within the larger goals of an academic health system. Additionally, the program is well-rounded with exposure and strong learning opportunity in any sub-specialty I could want. Lastly, the location was a good fit for my family.
Areas of Interest
- Being outside: mountain biking, camping, gardening, road tripping
- Music: singing and playing guitar, the symphony
- Doing the above with my rad wife and baby boy
