Why did you choose Michigan's residency program? Michigan Medicine is a one-of-a-kind academic medical center. When I was considering residency programs, I knew I wanted to be part of one that would allow me to pursue my many interests through a large variety of rotation offerings. Not only does Michigan Medicine provide access to these rotations, but the patient population is uniquely challenging because of the quaternary nature of the center. Furthermore, because Michigan Medicine is connected to the University of Michigan, I am also able to explore my interests in research and academia. Through research and writing projects, and additional opportunities that have crossed my path, the velocity of learning is nothing short of exciting. The opportunities truly abound here. Whatever path you decide to go down, Michigan Medicine is a place that can get you to your destination.
