About Me:
Hi! I'm Rosemary! I was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. I first moved to Michigan to study Biochemistry at Hillsdale College and spent a gap-year working there with undergraduate students in residence life. I moved back to Nebraska to attend medical school at Creighton University School of Medicine. I chose pediatrics because I wanted to be able to take care of some of medicine’s most vulnerable patients and to accompany families through moments of joy & suffering. When I'm not in the hospital you will find me running, hosting dinner parties, baking bread, or spending time with my fiancé and friends.
Why I chose Michigan:
One thing that stood out to me during my interview day was how enthusiastic and down to earth the chief residents were as they talked to us about their experience at the program. I was looking for high-volume, quality education in a supportive, collaborative environment and Michigan checked all of those boxes for me.
