About Me:
I was born and brought up in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended the University of California-San Diego for college, where I majored in General Biology with a concentration in Theater. This is also where I met my husband and best friend, Karan! I then traveled to Kalamazoo, Michigan for medical school, spending 4 wonderful years at the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. Here, I developed wonderful friendships while cultivating my passion for pediatrics, medical education, and the arts in medicine. In my spare time, I love to read, spend time with my family and friends, go on culinary adventures with Karan, re-watch comedy television, play board games, and take spontaneous trips to find all of Michigan's hidden gems! Following my graduation, I am planning to pursue a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine!
The Michigan Difference:
I felt at home right after my interview day! Michigan Pediatrics, with all its resources, opportunities, and open-mindedness, was undoubtedly the best place for me and my education. I will be forever thankful for all the people I met along the way during residency!
