About Me:
Hi, I am Lauren! I grew up in Central Florida and stayed in Florida for college (Go Gators!) and medical school, but I am so excited to be moving somewhere with true seasons! I am a big football fan, so you'll find me watching RedZone and playing fantasy football in the fall. In my free time, I like to do lots of baking, my favorite being pastry. I'm looking forward to making apple pie with hand-picked apples! When I grow up, I see myself pursuing pediatric critical care or pediatric emergency medicine, but I know these next 3 years will be a period of self-discovery so I am keeping an open mind. I am beyond excited to join the pediatrics team at U of M -- GO BLUE!!
Why I chose Michigan:
Even though I grew up a Florida girl, being a part of U of M has been a long-term dream of mine. I love Ann Arbor, everything the program stands for, and of course the football! Additionally, my partner works in automotive engineering, so Michigan is truly the perfect place for us.
