About Me:
I grew up outside of Columbus, OH, and completed my undergraduate education in Global Health at the University of Iowa. I went to medical school at the University of Michigan and was thrilled to have the opportunity to continue my training here as a pediatric resident. I stayed on as a chief resident, and enjoy the opportunity to work closely with residents as a mentor, advocate, and teacher. My educational interests include the use of high-fidelity simulation to prepare residents to respond to in-hospital emergencies. From a research standpoint I am currently working on a project to better understand healthcare encounters that children have in the week leading up to an admission for sepsis. Outside of work I enjoy being outdoors, whether that be gardening, cycling, or camping!
The Michigan Difference:
Michigan has such a diversity of opportunities - no matter your professional interests, you can find it here! There are also so many wonderful mentors here and faculty who love what they do and are excited to teach the next generation of pediatricians.
