About Me:
I grew up surrounded by the frozen landscapes of Syracuse, NY and attended college not too far to the west in Geneva, NY at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. I then moved to Providence, RI for my medical training at Brown University. I am likely a bit younger than most since I did not take any gap years throughout my medical journey thus far. Even though I was fortunate to find this path early on, I still considered a few different careers options along the way from being a teacher and chef to a violinist and aerospace engineer. People know me by my abundant non-caffeinated energy, love for teaching/mentoring, and leading a generally active lifestyle all months of the year! I am passionate about improving the delivery of resident education and in my free time you can find me creating episodes for my podcast, First Pediatrics!
The Michigan Difference:
Michigan attracts some of the most thoughtful and growth minded people who want to make a difference in the lives of children and their family’s. I have grown significantly given the supportive mentorship I have received during my training here and I feel so lucky to have this opportunity to give back as one of the chief residents this year.
