About Me:
I feel so fortunate to be able to say Go Blue! I grew up in Otisville which is a small village in Mid-Michigan. I attended Oakland University (Go Grizzlies!) graduating with a degree in Biomedical Sciences then attended medical school at Michigan State (Go green!). In between my 3rd and 4th year, I had an incredible opportunity to be a part of a pediatric dermatology fellowship in Chicago at Northwestern. I have also just completed a transitional year at Hurley Hospital in Flint and it was an unforgettable year full of experiences and training I don't believe I could have gotten anywhere else. In my free time I am an avid reader, crafter, book club member, gardener, cook, cat & dog mom, and have a wonderful boyfriend that has been very supportive of my path. My family and friends are a very important part of my life so I am so glad to be able to be relatively close to home.
Why I chose Michigan:
U of M is world renowned and has the absolute best training in pediatrics that I've come across. During my interview, I could feel the support that I would receive - even through Zoom! I've personally known so many people that have had life changing care at U of M (or have been part of the team!) and I am looking forward to helping my family, friends, and neighbors who come here for help.
