Department of Neurology research programs include basic studies in the pathogenesis of disease, the identification of conditions, patient-oriented studies of disease phenotype and the response to novel treatments, as well as epidemiology and health services research related to neurologic disease.

Publications and Research Funding
The Department of Neurology publishes over 200 articles in peer-reviewed journals each year and receives numerous new extramural awards.
