A very short biography:
As I wasn't too far away during medical school, I had already visited Ann Arbor a few times and had friends who had gone to University of Michigan for undergrad. I wanted to stay in the midwest and knew Michigan was a strong program for clinical and research experience so I was very excited when I got my interview but didn't know what to expect. On the day of the interview I received such a warm welcome from residents and faculty alike and I knew I would be well supported as a resident in the program. Some of my favorite things about living in Ann Arbor would be the diversity of amazing food and having lively a downtown but also with lots of green space. Michigan itself is also a pretty great place with by far my most amazing adventure so far being kayaking around pictured rocks on the upper peninsula.

One interesting personal thing we should know about you: All four years of medical school I was in the medical school A cappella group Vocal Remedy which my roommate was in as well. It was so much fun and we definitely had some weeks where we spent more time finding/arranging/practicing new songs and mashups than we did studying.
