Using microscopy to examine the effects of high glucose on sensory nerves

Dr. Lentz actively collaborates with the NeuroNetwork for Emerging Therapies in its study of diabetic neuropathy. His current research uses high resolution confocal microscopy to examine the effects of high glucose on mitochondrial dynamics and biogenesis in sensory neurons.
