Preventing peripheral nervous system injury and promoting its repair

Dr. Bennett is focused on gaining a better understanding of how the peripheral nervous system responds to injury. He is also interested in developing strategies to promote effective repair and prevent the development of adverse effects, such as neuropathic pain. He employs a variety of techniques ranging from transgenic mouse models to psychophysics in patient populations.
