Biography

Yidan Cao is a research associate at the Center for Promotion of Child Development through Primary Care, working on several health IT research projects and clinical quality improvement projects. She is also a senior research assistant at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Disparities Solutions. She has a special interest in health services research for vulnerable populations, particularly in development, implementation, and evaluation of health IT interventions to address issues of health disparities. She is also interested in evidence-based policy in health care systems and integration of social and behavioral determinants of health into healthcare analytics. After completing her BA degree in China, Yidan earned her master’s degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health Department of Health Policy and Management.
