Biography

Krystal is a student within the Health Infrastructures and Learning Systems Online MS Program. She earned her MS in Administration from Central Michigan University and her BS in Business Management from University of Phoenix/Aquinas College. Krystal was driven to pursue this Master’s Program because of her passion for data and her ability to understand the impact data can have on improving healthcare needs for all individuals. She currently works as a Senior Technical Business Analyst for the Michigan designated Health Information Exchange (HIE) known as Michigan Health Information Network (MiHIN). In this role, she works on data conformance with hospitals and Physician Organizations. Krystal is Native American and one of her other key focuses at MiHIN is helping the MiHIN team bridge the knowledge gaps and work to help improve clinical care for Tribal Communities across the State of Michigan.

Krystal, and her husband Dave, have three children - Emma, Adam, and Owen. Their children play many sports, and they love going to watch their games! When they are not at a sporting event, you can find them in their backyard relaxing by their pool.
