My laboratory focuses on improving the health of patients with high blood pressure, the leading risk factor for global disease burden (World Health Organization). Over 1 billion people have elevated blood pressure. There is an urgent need for improved blood pressure control in countries throughout the world. My goal in the Global REACH program is to collaborate with partners in other countries to improve the control of blood pressure in patients, wherever they may live.
