My laboratory is generally interested in the development and diseases of the peripheral nervous system. We are particularly interested in identifying genes implicated in peripheral neuropathy in worldwide populations that have not been heavily studied. In addition, we have done training outreach in Brazil on using zebrafish model systems in human genetic disease.
