Udhaya L. Aelety, M.D.

Hi everyone! My name is Udhaya Aelety, and I'm from Dallas, TX. Before starting medical school at TTUHSC in Lubbock, TX, I volunteered as a sexual assault advocate and worked as a medical scribe. I chose family medicine due to the opportunity to truly be patients' advocates at every stage of life. I am thrilled to be training at the University of Michigan due to the program’s commitment to diversity, emphasis on continuity care, and dedication to preparing clinicians for any setting of practice. I am so excited to begin the next chapter of my career here in Ann Arbor! In my free time, I enjoy dancing, traveling, spending time with family and friends, binging on TV shows, watching movies, and trying new restaurants!
