Biography
Dr. Elainee Poling is a family physician in the University of Michigan Department of Family Medicine. She cares for patients at the Chelsea Health Center where she enjoys helping all patients achieve their best health through every stage of life, from newborn to elderly. She especially enjoys caring for pregnant patients and newborns during birth at U-M's Von Voightlander Women's Hospital. Dr. Poling graduated from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine (2018) and completed residency training at the University of Michigan where she was Co-Chief Resident (2021). Dr. Poling was selected into the Medical Education Scholars Program to build upon her skills and passion for medical education and teaching. In her free time, Dr. Poling spends time with her family and dogs, enjoying all the seasonal activities that Michigan has to offer (camping, kayaking, skiing, and more), as well as a variety of sports and fitness activities (running, group classes, pickleball, and learning to golf).
