Chang to Speak at U-M President's Awards for Public Engagement

Founder of the MyVoice National Poll of Youth, Tammy Chang, will speak at a University-wide ceremony recognizing faculty initiatives in the vital sphere of national and state leadership and public impact

In an upcoming ceremony hosted by University of Michigan President Mark S. Schlissel, Tammy Chang, M.D., M.P.H., M.S., assistant professor, will give a lightning talk on her experience building community, state, and national partnerships as the founder of MyVoice, a national text messsage-based poll of U.S. youth. The ceremony will honor 2019 and 2020 recipients of the Presidential Awards for Public Engagement, developed to honor faculty initiative and dedication in the vital sphere of national and state leadership and public impact. Invited lightning talks will follow a panel discussion with 2019 and 2020 recipients of the President's 2019 National and State Leadership Award and the Public Impact Award.
