Marissa S. Ghant, M.D.

Hello! My name is Marissa Ghant and I’m from the Chicagoland area. I attended Davidson College in North Carolina before completing medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. I then completed my intern year in Family Medicine at the Naval Hospital Jacksonville. Afterward, I continued my active-duty service as a flight surgeon and primary care physician for service members in aviation squadrons while stationed in Yuma, Arizona, and San Diego. I am excited to be returning to Family Medicine and the Midwest! I’m thrilled to be joining the University of Michigan team, and am looking forward to pursuing my passion of caring for underserved communities. Outside of medicine, I enjoy reading, traveling, cheering for the Sky and Warriors, playing video games, running, and spending time with my significant other and our pup, Marley.
