Laura K. Hadad, M.D.

Hi everyone! My name is Laura. I grew up in Troy, Michigan before heading to the University of Michigan for college. After taking a gap year to work as a medical scribe and teach MCAT courses, I moved to Ohio to attend the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. During medical school I fell in love with family medicine for its emphasis on building long-term relationships with all types of patients. I also appreciated that I could explore my specific clinical interests within the broad scope of family medicine. On my interview day at Michigan I was impressed by the warm, enthusiastic, and intelligent residents and faculty members. Since then, I have found my interview day impression to be accurate; everyone has been incredibly welcoming. I’m so excited to be back in Ann Arbor, near my family, and to be part of this academically rigorous, yet supportive program. Outside of medicine, I love to play volleyball (indoor and sand!), read, wander around bookstores, and go up north with friends.
