Kathleen A. Abenes, M.D.

Hi everyone! My name is Kathleen, and I'm a lifelong Michigander from the Metro Detroit area. I went to the University of Michigan for undergrad before heading to Michigan State for medical school. After spending time in Grand Rapids, Flint, and Alpena during medical school, I'm thrilled to be back in Ann Arbor for my residency training! I fell in love with family medicine because of the opportunities to really get to know my patients and their families over their lifetime. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, cross-stitching, and cheering on the Detroit Red Wings!
