Biography
Hello! My name is Jessica, and I am from Ithaca, Michigan. I completed my undergraduate education at Michigan State University, and I completed medical school at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Through each of these chapters of my life, I have gradually found a deep passion for family medicine. I love the ability to provide care for individuals of all ages, focus on all aspects of an individual's health, integrate social forces into health care, and treat the needs of a community. I truly believe no specialty is better suited to accomplish each of these goals than family medicine, and it is a privilege to practice in this field and serve the community around me. I was immediately drawn to the University of Michigan's Family Medicine Residency Program, as I felt it uniquely met all of my passions within the field of family medicine. I appreciated the opportunity to train within a community and academic setting, as well as the "family" atmosphere that exists within the program. I am so excited and honored to be training and practicing here. In my free time, I love running, cooking, hiking, trying new restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and traveling anywhere I can explore outdoors.
