Biography
Hi everyone! My name is Jasmine Tzeggai, and I was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. I went to undergrad at Northwestern University and after a year of scribing back home in Indy, I returned to Illinois for medical school at the University of Chicago. During my time working with patients on the South Side of Chicago, I developed a passion for primary care and discovered Family Medicine as an incredible avenue for providing equitable, holistic care to marginalized communities. I was drawn to the U-M Family Medicine program because of the amazing support from faculty and co-residents, robust training, and commitment to excellent care for diverse, underserved populations. In my free time, I love visiting new restaurants, going to concerts, and traveling with friends and family!
