Dr. Kales is a Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Program for Positive Aging at the University of Michigan and a Research Investigator in the Center for Clinical Management Research and the Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center in the VA Ann Arbor Health System. Dr. Kales is an international expert in the behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia, later-life depression and pharmacoepidemiological research related to the prevalence and risks of use of psychotropic medications in patients with dementia.
She will present her lecture titled "Maximizing Your Cognitive, Physical and Emotional Health to Promote Positive Aging" as a part of the Drs. Earl and Louise Zazove Lectureship in Family Medicine.
