Join us for one or both of these exciting CME courses and keep up to date on new developments in family and/or sports medicine.

The Department of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan, in partnership with the Adolescent Health Initiative, presents Sports Medicine for the Primary Care Physician & Fall Update in Family Medicine, October 19-21, 2016.

The Sports Medicine course will include updates on cardiovascular screening of athletes, concussion management, treatment of chronic tendinopathies, and diagnosis and treatment of common injuries, as well as workshops to improve your musculoskeletal physical exam skills.

For this year’s Fall Update course, we will present a wide variety of topics addressing common diagnoses in primary care, and we have arranged “Ask the Expert” breakout sessions to address your clinical conundrums in pediatric urgent care, cardiology, and integrative medicine.  This year’s course also highlights the use of new medications in diabetes treatment, screening for cervical cancer and for Hepatitis C, identification of autism spectrum disorders, implementation of a low FODMAP diet, and the use of HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP).

The conference will be held at the Kensington Court in Ann Arbor (new location), which has recently undergone renovation to offer ultra-modern event facilities.  The courses include breakfast, lunch, and snacks. You can attend one conference or both, as your schedule allows.

Join us in Ann Arbor to earn CME and enjoy the beautiful fall weather! Registration is now open!
