David Benavides, M.D.

Hi! My name is David Benavides. I was born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida. As an enthusiastic transplant, I found myself with the privilege to train and care for Michiganders everywhere. I chose residency at the University of Michigan due to its truly compassionate environment, patient population, and its world-class training/healthcare. Being part of a family medicine program will sharpen the tools I need to always holistically care for each and every patient and their family, no matter the age or need. I am fluent in multiple languages including Spanish and Italian, and welcome patients of all backgrounds. 
   
In my free time, you will see me spending time with loved-ones, enjoying the mitten’s extraordinary lakes, and deep in some fitness/exercise activity.
