Biography
Hello! My name is Bryan. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I traveled a few miles up the coast for undergrad and completed a B.A. in Global Studies at the University of California Santa Barbara, with a minor in Geology. During and after undergrad I lived in Shanghai, China learning about Chinese culture, history, and politics and working for an educational non-profit organization. I then returned to Los Angeles to pursue a career in medicine. After finishing a post-bacc program at Cal-State Northridge, I went across the country to Boston for medical school. After graduating from Boston University, my wife and I decided to explore the Midwest. I was drawn to the University of Michigan Family Medicine program by its outstanding faculty, vast amount of research support, the beauty and vibe of Ann Arbor, and the opportunity to practice full-spectrum Family Medicine.
