Biography
Hi! My name is Blake Arthurs and I am from Newport, MI. I went to University of Michigan for undergrad and then on to Wayne State School of Medicine. It was there that I fell in love with Family Medicine. I was drawn to the continuity of care, the strong patient relationships, the broad scope of practice, and the focus on the social aspects of health.
I am very lucky to be in the University of Michigan Family Medicine Residency Program! The excellent residents and faculty are definitely a testament to the high quality, comprehensive training at U of M. Michigan has a wonderfully unique combination of a strong community atmosphere and the rigor, resources, and opportunities of a large academic institution.
In my free time, I enjoy biking, sailing on Lake Erie, reading, and exploring new restaurants. My other interest include magic, cooking, Michigan sports, and all things Detroit.
