Biography
Dr. Kiyota, who is fluent in Japanese, is a family physician who cares for patients of all ages. She has additional training and expertise in geriatric medicine along with hospice and palliative care. She completed the degree of Fellow of American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (FAAHPM) in 11/2019 and Fellow of American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP) in 5/2020. Her practice is based at the Livonia Health Center and she also sees patients at the Chelsea Retirement Community and within the inpatient Palliative Care program.
She is active in the American Academy of Palliative Medicine and the American Geriatrics Society.
