What made you choose EM as your specialty? I chose EM not only because it will equip me with a broad range of medical skills, but it also focuses on quick decision making to prevent death or further disability in severely ill and injured patients. I also like the fact that EM skills can be used in hospital and pre-hospital settings.
How can EM help Ghana? EM will help improve the survival rate of patients needing acute care as they will be attended to quickly and efficiently.
