What made you choose EM as your specialty? I loved the diversity and knowledge depth of Emergency Medicine. I was motivated by the opportunity of helping patients in the acute state and being at the forefront of patient care.
How can EM help Ghana? Although young in Ghana, Emergency Medicine has already become a major component of the health system in Ghana. In my opinion, it has introduced a new sense of medical discipline and patient advocacy. These are important improvements that can shape the entire Ghanaian health system.
What are your research areas of interest? Injury prevention, Prehospital care, and Health policy research
