Biography

Dr. Cator is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics.  She received her M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University.  She completed Pediatric residency and Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at the University of Michigan and joined our faculty in 2013.  She is interested in mentorship of PEM fellows, having mentored 2 fellows’ scholarly projects, as well as fellow education, and is the director of the Evidence Based Medicine and Journal Club curricula for the PEM Fellowship. 

Dr. Cator also has an interest in multi-site research and has served as a site principal investigator or co-investigator for a number of studies through the PECARN network.
