Biography
Dr. Hummel was a 2012-13 hospice & palliative medicine fellow at the University of Michigan. She received her medical degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York, NY in 2000. She completed an internal medicine residency at the New York-Presbyterian/Columbia Medical Center, New York, NY in 2003. She then went on to complete a general internal medicine research fellowship at Columbia University in 2004 and served as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at the University of Michigan and Veterans’ Affairs Ann Arbor Medical Center, Ann Arbor, MI. She is interested in medical ethics, care delivery to medically under-served populations and palliative care for congestive heart failure.
