Congratulations to Shriya Sethuraman!

Bioinformatics Ph.D. candidate Shriya Sethuraman was recently awarded the Helen Wu Award from Rackham Graduate School

Shriya is currently pursuing research in Andrzej Wierzbicki’s lab. Her main focus involves understanding the RNA-dependent DNA Methylation (RdDM) pathway in Arabidopsis thaliana. Helen Wu, for whom the award is named, received her Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from the University of Michigan in 1953. This award is a tribute to her life and career; the Bioinformatics Program is proud to have this honor bestowed on Shriya.
