Congratulations to Xinqiang Ding and Zhengda Li!

Bioinformatics Ph.D. candidates Xinqiang Ding and Zhengda Li were each recently awarded a Rackham Predoctoral Fellowship to be used next year. This highly competitive fellowship supports students in their final year of study.

Xinqiang studies in Prof. Charles Brooks’ lab, where his research has been focused on advancing physics-based computational methods for studying protein-ligand interactions. Zhengda’s research is in Prof. Qiong Yang’s lab with the goal to understand the mechanisms of biological oscillators from computational modeling and biological examples.

The Bioinformatics Program is extremely proud of their achievements.
