Ahmed main focus is cancer informatics. Pancreatic Cancer Adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a devastating disease that takes the lives of thousands of people every year; besides, it is extremely complicated to investigate due to a complex tumor microenvironment. With the ever-expanding high-throughput high-dimensional sequencing data from multiple resources, it became attainable to demystify the pathogenesis of PDAC through computational approaches. Ahmed's research focuses on integrating human multimodal single-cell data to understand Pancreatic Cancer Adenocarcinoma (PDAC).
