"Drs. Stephanie Eid and Eva Feldman et al. used RNAseq to understand the mechanisms underlying the distal-to-proximal progression of peripheral neuropathy in diet-induced obese animals. They found that the immune response, insulin signaling, and lipid metabolism were dysregulated both at distal and proximal sites, while oxidative stress was present only distally. These findings that are now published in Translational Research".
