The Center for Cell Plasticity and Organ Design New Logo. The logo was created and designed by STAMPS student Katie Zhao

The Center for Cell Plasticity and Organ Design is proud to unveil our new logo:

Logo CPOD

Over the past few months, CPOD has been working on designing a new logo for the Center, in addition to launching new social media pages, which you can find links to below.

Through the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art & Design we were introduced to Katie Zhao. Over the past few months, we have worked with Katie to come up with the best possible logo for the center. The process was exciting, and productive as we navigated iterations to the final product. Katie did an amazing job balancing her creative vision with our feedback and input. Katie was able to create this amazing!

Here is a message from Katie:

Hello! My name is Katie and I am a sophomore pursuing a dual degree in Art & Design (product design track) and Information (UX design track). This logo was super fun to work on and I actually learned something about the epithelial-mesenchymal transition! The logo makes reference to EMT by having the shape of the hexagon fusing into a circle. Hope you enjoy it :)

We would like to thank Katie for all her hard work. She was able to masterfully take our feedback and deliver a final iteration we are proud to have as the new CPOD logo. We also hope everyone enjoys our new logo and uses it to represent the Center in the future.
