Biography
Invigorated by my academic angel investors Emily and Dawen, I headed from San Francisco to this lovely city to start my postdoc career. I soon fell in love with the environment and regained the natural feeling of four seasons (As you know, there are no seasons in San Francisco)!
I studied how hypothalamic neural circuits regulate physiology and behaviors in my PhD,
and now I aim to take the grand challenge of solving functional connectomes in the brain with Dawen’s team.
Growing up Taiwan, a small tropical island, I had never seen any snow in my life. So I have just learned the new skill of driving in it!
